Addon driver safety system for Forklift vehicles

To prevent accidents and to ensure safety of people in an industrial environment, Taiwan based VIA Technologies is offering machine vision based forklift safety system. VIA Mobile360 Forklift Safety System detects people, and it also alerts the driver/operator during a smoke, phone usage, and also senses operator's fatigue. It watches the operator continuously through a camera. The machine vision cameras covers complete 360° of the vehicle, the operator is provided with high-quality speaker for alerting and a 7 inch display. To support wider operation voltage, it has recently enabled EV forklift support for the VIA Mobile360 Forklift Safety System with the launch of its new 36V – 100V DC-DC power converter.
