HDX read-only RFID transponder from IXYS

IXYS Integrated Circuits Division (ICD) announced the availability of the NCD1015ZP, low frequency, half duplex (HDX), read-only RFID transponder. The NCD1015ZP operates at a resonant frequency of 134.2kHz, has 64-bits of pre-programmed or custom-programmed identification data storage and utilizes a 16-bit CRC error checking code generator to ensure data integrity. This transponder supports ISO 11784 and ISO 11785 standards. Using the power acquired from harvesting the RF energy transmitted by the RFID reader, the passive transponder responds by sending out a 128-bit packet that contains the stored 64-bit data, a 16-bit CRC-CCITT error checking code, and the overhead bits necessary to ensure transmission recognition.
