TTL compatible 74AHCT1Gxx logic ICs from Diodes replaces bipolar/CMOS parts

Diodes Incorporated has introduced a range of logic devices designed to provide a performance upgrade for 5V systems such as desktop computing and peripherals that require a TTL interface. The 74AHCT1Gxx devices serve as TTL compatible drop-in replacements for existing bipolar or CMOS parts.

Operating from 4.5V to 5V and delivering an output drive current of 8mA, the 74AHCT1Gxx logic range will suit general-purpose control applications in a broad range of consumer electronic products. Nine logic functions have been announced in a choice of SOT25 and SOT353 packages and comprise AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, inverter, Schmitt trigger inverter and tri-state buffers.

As single-gate devices, the 74AHCT1Gxx logic functions can also bring routing and board space benefits to new builds, with logic functions able to be located at the precise point of application. To improve susceptibility to noise, the devices have also integrated input hysteresis.
