Single-chip UHF ASK/FSK RF transmitter with built-in AVR MCU from Atmel

Atmel has introduced the ATA874x, a new single-chip UHF ASK/FSK RF transmitter family targeting wireless industrial and consumer applications such as metering, alarm systems and home control.

These new ATA874x devices incorporate Atmel's RF transmitter technology and AVR's ATtiny44V CPU, allowing in-system flash memory re-programming. ATtiny44V achieves throughputs close to 1 MIPS per MHz to optimize power consumption versus processing speed.

This AVR product family offers RF performance operating in the license-free ISM frequency bands (868 to 928 MHz, 433 MHz, and 315 MHz).

Package: QFN24 package
Price: Starts at USD $1 for 200k pieces
Availability: Now in samples
