Salcomp shipped > 5 million Enphase IQ microinverters to global market

Enphase Energy said Salcomp, shipped more than five million Enphase IQ Microinverters. Starting from the early 2020, Salcomp’s factory in Chennai, India has manufactured Enphase Microinverters and other components for the global markets such as North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Salcomp is a leading manufacturer of AC/DC adapters for mobile phone and notebook computer market.

Enphase IQ Microinverters set to undergo lot of testing to ensure higher reliability and quality with more than one million cumulative hours of cumulative power-on testing. They are designed to perform under heat, high humidity, salty air, extreme cold, and harsh climate conditions. Enphase says its microinverters are designed to be long-lived energy assets and are backed by a limited warranty of up to 25 years, depending on the specific regional market.
