Silicon and software displayed and talked at ARM TechCon 2016

AppliedMicro’s X-Gene and Xilinx Zynq SoCs and MPSoCs displayed at ARM TechCon 2016. The server chip vendor AppliedMicro to host expert panel at ARM TechCon 2016 to discuss a growing system around ARMv8-A architecture which it has used in designing server chips. AppliedMicro is showcasing its X-Gene server processor family at ARM TechCon 2016.

Xilinx is also showcasing its Zynq SoCs and MPSoCs at ARM TechCon 2016. Xilinx is demonstrating how it’s Zynq UltraScale heterogenous multiprocess system can be used for data management and control. The product is for demonstration where visitors can see how Zynq ultra scale+ SoCs and MPSoCs can overcome the design channel that requires complex software applications, real time data processing, and functional safety. The demonstration to highlight how software developers can easily use Xilinx All Programmable SoCs to implement sophisticated embedded vision algorithms using a familiar Eclipse-based development environment - without mastering RTL.

Some of the other displays and presentations at ARM TechCon includes:
Skkynet Cloud Systems displayed its real-time connectivity solutions for IoT at the Renesas Electronics booth. Skkynet's SkkyHub service can securely connect live data in real time from any location.

Thundersoft showed its tech-enabled virtual reality headset, smart camera, pocket-size drone, and education robot demos.
Green Hills Software Presented on topics such as: Designing Reliable Code Using MISRA C/C++ , Understanding Shared Memory in C/C++11 , and demonstrated its latest debugger and its platforms to secure IoT.

IAR presented on Master Embedded Safety Traps, Boost Performance Optimizations, Gain X-ray Vision with Code Analysis, Take Control of your Multicore Debugging, and Kill Bugs Efficiently with Code Trace.
