TE completes acquisition of minimally invasive medical device expert Creganna

TE Connectivity has strengthened its capabilities in medical electronics domain by completing the acquisition of Creganna Medical Group (Creganna). Health diagnosis equipments of type minimal invasive if not fully non-invasive are doing well in the market. Creganna has design and manufacturing expertise in this area of lesser or minimally invasive medical electronics devices.

Creganna supplies medical devices to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The company, headquartered in Ireland, with sales revenue in the range of $250 million in 2015.

The business will be reported as part of TE's Industrial Solutions segment.
