ST to showcase IOT and mobile products at MWC Shanghai

STMicroelectronics to showcase its latest products and technologies for mobile, wearable, and Internet-of-Things applications at Mobile World Congress Shanghai, July 15-17, 2015.

STMicroelectronics shares a market research study by IDC where it says "420.7 million smartphones were shipped to China in 2014 and the year-over-year growth for the smartphone market in China is expected to hit close to 10 percent in 2015."

ST to display its semiconductor and other products targeting mobile, wearable, and IoT applications, including ultra-low-power microcontrollers (MCU), connectivity/NFC, energy management, and MEMS and sensors.

Some of its latest products such as STM32 F7 series, discovery kits, STM32 Nucleo open development platform, NFC watch prototype with ST chips supporting Bluetooth mobile-phone connection and application management, power-management portfolio covering ECMF, AMOLED, RF tuners, and wireless and battery chargers, Low-power connectivity and Bluetooth solutions are going to be displayed by ST.

The theme of this year’s Mobile World Congress Shanghai is “Mobile Unlimited”. That means exploring mobile for any type of application.
