Accellera invites nominations for awards in EDA and IP standard creation

Nominations are being accepted now through Friday, January 18 for the 2013 Technical Excellence Award sponsored by Accellera Systems Initiative (Accellera). The Award recognizes outstanding contributions in the creation of electronic design automation (EDA) and intellectual property (IP) standards by a member of an Accellera technical committee. Standards created by Accellera are contributed to the IEEE Standards Association for formal standardization and ongoing control.

Any individual who is a member of an Accellera technical committee is eligible to receive the award. Candidates may be nominated by the industry at large and are endorsed by Accellera committee members. Award nominations are due January 18, 2013. The Technical Excellence Award will be presented during a luncheon at Accellera Systems Initiative day, a featured part of DVCon 2013 taking place February 25-28, 2013 in San Jose, Calif.
