e-models of KEMET’s CBR Series capacitors for circuit simulation

KEMET Corporation and Modelithics have partnered to provide models of KEMET’s CBR Series of capacitors, sizes 0201, 0402, 0603, and 0805, for RF and microwave applications. Measured and validated up to 20 GHz, the models are now available from Modelithics at http://www.modelithics.com/mvp/KEMET. Single-substrate S-parameters can also be downloaded for free from this same area.

"Customers and design engineers can use these models for circuit simulations to accurately predict various electrical parameters while using KEMET's HiQ-CBR capacitors in their circuits,” stated Dr. Abhijit Gurav, KEMET Vice President, Ceramic Technology. “This is critical in enabling customers to design circuits with superior capabilities at the lowest cost as well as reducing design cycles and time."
