Freescale Semiconductor opens development center in Hyderabad's SEZ

Freescale Semiconductor has opened a research and development (R&D) center in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Gachibowli, Hyderabad, India. Freescale to use this facility for developing semiconductor chips and solutions targeting communications market.

Activity at the new facility is expected to deliver solutions that enhance Freescale's QorIQ and the new AMP Platform for applications including data center, security appliances, mobile wireless infrastructure and small business networking among other leading edge technologies, states release from Freescale.

Its good news for VLSI designs engineers in Hyderabad, where they can find more opportunities available locally. Freescale leverages Indian talent significantly to develop its cutting edge chips.
