Drag and drop solution announced by Altera and Northwest logic for  667-Mbps DDR2 SDRAM interface in Stratix II FPGAs

IP core specialist Northwest logic’s 667-Mbps DDR2 SDRAM interface core can be assembled into Altera’s Stratix II and Stratix II GX  FPGAs with less complexities.
The robust DDR2 phy along with this DDR2 interface, increases memory throughput and provide higher bus efficiency. Both companies provide a good bunch of development tools, boards, software code, etc..  Altera’s customers can download Northwest Logic’s DDR2 SDRAM Controller Core from Altera’s IP MegaStore website www.altera.com/memorycontrollers.
