Sidense says no Kilopass patent infringement

Sidense has stated it has not violated Kilopass 's patent. Kilopass has recently filed a complaint alleging Sidense is violating only one of their 1T patents, U.S. patent-6,940,751. Both Sindense and Kilopass are non-volatile semiconductor memory IP core developers.

"We are absolutely convinced there is no infringement," stated Sidense Corp. CEO Xerxes Wania. He also said Sidense's innovation has been confirmed by multiple patent offices and foundries worldwide.

Kilopass Technology was founded with some patents of anti-fuse technology. Samsung and Analog Devices are some of the latest licensees of Kilopass technology.

Sidense has also patented its anti-fuse based OTP technology and has customers like Fujitsu and Sigma Designs.
