Home control automation demo from Z-wave gets more attention

Z-Wave Alliance has said its home control automation demonstration at Light+Building Trade Fair event in Germany has pulled lot of crowd.

"The huge number of visitors interested in home control solutions underscores the fact that this market is really on the rise in Europe," said Raoul Wijgergangs, chairman of the Z-Wave Alliance.

"The local demand has reached a level similar to that in the USA," said Mr. Wijgergangs. "By providing consumers with more than 360 interoperable devices for control of their home systems - lighting, heating, surveillance cameras, entertainment networks and more - Z-Wave technology is making dreams of the" smart home" an affordable reality here in Europe, the US, and elsewhere around the world."

Z-Wave Alliance is an open consortium of over 160 manufacturers who create products and services based on Z-Wave, the standard in wireless control.
