Semiconductor manufacturing equipment
suppliers won 2009's Intel's supplier awards
Year 2009's supplier awards from Intel as usual include
semiconductor manufacturing equipment suppliers. The 2009
winners are Daewon Semiconductor Packaging Industrial Company,
Ltd.; DEK International GmBh; DISCO Corporation; Hitachi
High-Technologies Corporation; Hitachi Kokusai Electric
Inc.; Moses Lake Industries (Tama Chemicals); Munters Corporation;
Senju Metal Industry Co., Ltd.; SUMCO Corporation; and Verizon
Business.
With intel expanding its semiconductor manufacturing facilities,
these suppliers must have supplied best of the quality plus
best of the latest technology in enabling Intel's semiconductor
fab to move into 22 nm and lesser nodes.
As well commented by Intel's Brian Krzanich, senior vice
president and general manager of Manufacturing and Supply
Chain, these 'world-class suppliers' were industry role
models during the rapidly changing business environment
of 2009.
