Socle's System-on-Chips are designed with Cosmic Circuits' Analog IP cores

A Taiwan based SOC design-platform Socle Technology's multiple chip designs now integrating Analog IP cores from Bangalore, India based semiconductor IP developer Cosmic Circuits.

Cosmic Circuit says its analog IP cores enable the optimal levels of Analog integration into nanometer system-on-chips, while maximizing the certainty of success with chip integration. The Analog IP cores offers Data-Converters, Analog-Front-End platforms for Wireless and Audio, Power-Management, Clocking and low-power Connectivity. Cosmic Circuit's nanometer cores are suitable for portable and fixed consumer, wireless, and convergence applications, and other emerging markets.

Commenting on this partnership, Wuhan Lu, VP of Product Marketing Division for Socle commented, "We achieved customer projects' successes of nanometer system-on-chips using Cosmic's IP cores, and Cosmic enabled many of our differentiated analog needs quite effectively. The consumer convergence markets that our customers are after puts pressure on us and our IP suppliers to reduce die-size, even while integrating more of the BOM components. Over many engagements, we found Cosmic delivering consistently, helping us meet our cost and time-to-market goals with certainty". He further added, "Their expertise in analog, their strong portfolio, and their strong customer-orientation have been the reasons behind our continual engagements. We look forward to more such partnerships with Cosmic".

The CEO of Cosmic Circuits, Ganapathy Subramaniam, commented that "Socle realizing repeated successes partnering with Cosmic is a vindication of our strategy of offering a broad portfolio of differentiated nanometer analog IP, and helping our customers meet their analog integration and time-to-market goals efficiently". He added that "We are happy to be partnering with Socle who is a leader in platform based ASIC/SoC design-services. Such successes spur us on to invest further in differentiated analog cores and help SOC designers achieve certainty in their design-cycle".
