ISA Vision summit 2010 to focus on "electronics
designed and made in India"
India Semiconductor Association (ISA) has announced "ISA
Vision Summit 2010" in association with Government
of Karnataka & UK Trade and Investment.
This annual event attended by semiconductor and electronics
experts is a right forum to share industry trends and to
network with high profile executives. The 5th ISA Vision
Summit 2010 is scheduled for 1st & 2nd February 2010
at the Taj West End, Bangalore.
Karnataka, more in particular Bangalore is heading to a
position of semiconductor design services mecca of the world.
Now there is a clear opportunity for this city to take on
the role of manufacturing destination for electronics. It's
achievable with proactive support from state government
and a synergetic effort from public sector, private sector,
academia, and government.
Mr. Aravind Jannu, IAS, while addressing the media said
that Govt. of Karnataka is committed to growth of the Electronics
Systems Design and Manufacturing industry. Govt of Karnataka
is happy to host this event in Bangalore.
Mr B V Naidu said, This decade is going to be the opportunity
of "Indian innovation, Indian product designs for Indian
manufacturing for Indian markets". "ISA has put
together a great programme for this Vision Summit to reflect
this sprit," he added.
