LED driver ICs from austriamicrosystem now powers LG's new LED backlit TV

LG Electronics has selected the Austriamicrosystem's AS3693A and AS3693B LED driver ICs for its new LED backlit TVs.

The AS3693 family offers high contrast ratios and high picture quality, and regulates the LED power supply and minimizes power dissipation in the system.

In addition, the entire portfolio has the current accuracy to within +/- 0.5 % resulting in high brightness uniformity.
