Microsemi's high power single-phase rectifier bridge modules are now DSCC qualified

Microsemi has announced that it received the DSCC qualification for its family of three hermetically sealed high voltage single phase bridge rectifier modules used for ac to dc conversion in high reliability power supplies. The three modules are suitable for defense and other high reliability applications such as avionics, ships and radar.

Their packaging provides an epoxy-filled aluminum casing around four void-less hard glass rectifier elements with tungsten slugs. This robust construction technique provides easy mounting, low thermal resistance and space savings.

"The new DSCC qualifications for our rectifier modules family represents an important addition to Microsemi's portfolio of devices approved for the many military applications our customers are producing," said Kare Karlsen, Microsemi Executive Vice President of Military and Aerospace Products.

The new DSCC qualifications for Microsemi Part Numbers JANTXM19500/469-01, JANTXM19500/469-02 and JANTXM19500/469-03 cover JANTX and JANTXV specifications for 10 amp applications of 200V, 400V and 600V respectively.

Operating temperature rating: -65C to +150C

Package: Compact 19mm x 19mm x 14.5mm package
