Sony selects Marvell's video processor to power its Blu-ray Disc MegaChanger

Sony is employing Marvell's 88DE2710 video processor to power its BDP-CX7000ES Blu-ray Disc MegaChanger.

The 88DE2710 is a dual-channel digital video format converter that converts PC graphics and any high-definition (HD) or standard-definition (SD) digital video input into any standard video format, including full HD resolution at 1080p. The 88DE2710 features advanced video pipeline delivering high quality of 1080p image and the secondary pipeline supports scaling for picture-in-picture and thumbnail functions.
