Microchip selects Kolkata for it's embedded designer forum event in India

Microchip is actively engaged in conducting training session for embedded system developers in India and around the world. For it's worldwide event named Embedded Designer's Forum, it has selected Kolkata city in the Indian region. The date of the event is Dec 14, 2009 and the venue is ITC Hotel Kolkata.

The topics to be covered are, eXtrem Low Power Technology (Nanowatt XLP), enhanced PIC16F1 Architecture, 32-Bit microcontrollers, USB applications and mTouch Sensors as well as Graphics Control Libraries in 6 technical presentations and demonstrate practical examples.

Microchip is selling its development kits at lower price and also offering free, hands-on training at its Regional Training Centers. To register or for more information, please visit http://www.microchip.com/EDF.

"Today's embedded designers are tasked to do more with less, at lower costs and in less time," said Ken Pye, vice president of Worldwide Applications Engineering for Microchip. "Our Embedded Designer's Forums are designed to enable them to accomplish these goals. Whether it is learning how to develop extremely low-power designs, or enhancing user interfaces with touch sensing and graphic displays, the Forums will give designers an edge to quickly differentiate their products in the marketplace."

Microchip is recently focusing on reducing power consumption of it's all types of semiconductor devices and is displayed even in it's product brands by using words like 'Nanowatt'; in line with the worldwide semiconductor device trend of low power computing.
