Kyocera opens sales office in Gurgaon, India

Kyocera has opened a new Indian branch company named KYOCERA Asia Pacific India Private Limited at Gurgaon to handle the growing Indian semiconductors and components market.

India's semiconductor and electronic component market is building up faster from past 3 to 4 years and it is expected to grow even faster in the coming years. All these past years, Kyocera, just like any other Japanese semiconductor company has assigned India's sales responsibility to its Singapore office. But now Kyocera has realized the India's electronic industry market potential and has decided to open exclusive sales office covering Indian region.

Kyocera's line of products includes electronic, semiconductor, fine ceramic and thin film components and PV solar panels.

Kyocera said, "As one of the markets in Asia on which Kyocera has placed strategic importance, KYOCERA Asia Pacific India Private Limited (KAPI) will be able to aggressively develop its sales activities in India. The new company will begin with sales of cutting tools, and subsequently progress with further sales of other Kyocera components."
