Kyocera opens sales office in Gurgaon,
India
Kyocera has opened a new Indian branch company named KYOCERA
Asia Pacific India Private Limited at Gurgaon to handle
the growing Indian semiconductors and components market.
India's semiconductor and electronic component market is
building up faster from past 3 to 4 years and it is expected
to grow even faster in the coming years. All these past
years, Kyocera, just like any other Japanese semiconductor
company has assigned India's sales responsibility to its
Singapore office. But now Kyocera has realized the India's
electronic industry market potential and has decided to
open exclusive sales office covering Indian region.
Kyocera's line of products includes electronic, semiconductor,
fine ceramic and thin film components and PV solar panels.
Kyocera said, "As one of the markets in Asia on which
Kyocera has placed strategic importance, KYOCERA Asia Pacific
India Private Limited (KAPI) will be able to aggressively
develop its sales activities in India. The new company will
begin with sales of cutting tools, and subsequently progress
with further sales of other Kyocera components."
