PSG College goes for Agilent's test
kit solutions for its EE students
Coimbatore based PSG College of Technology has chosen Agilent's
range of integrated curriculum-based solution kits to enrich
its electronics labs and train its electronics engineering
students in testing and measurement. Agilent's curriculum-based
courseware is designed to help educators get the most out
of their equipment and time through the mix of teaching
slide sets, problem-based student labs and industry-standard
measurement equipment.
"We have experienced firsthand the benefits of using
Agilent equipment," said professor S. Jayaraman, PSG
College's head of Electronics and Communication Engineering
department. "We believe in the value proposition of
the Agilent Education Program and the Multipurpose Lab Station
(MPLS). Its easy-to-use bundled solution gives us the flexibility
to design, develop and conduct our own innovative lab experiments.
The MPLS will greatly aid our students' learning and will
be used extensively in our education and research curriculum."
Since the purchase of 20 units of the MPLS, the PSG College
of Technology has integrated the MPLS into various classes,
including digital electronics, communication engineering
and integrated circuits courses.
"Our success with PSG College reinforces our commitment
to create better solutions for educators worldwide,"
said Mike Kawasaki, Agilent's education program manager.
"Our products give aspiring scientists the opportunity
to work with the latest equipment and reiterates Agilent's
proposition to deliver value to our customers - regardless
of their budgets."
