 Key Stream transfers its wireless LAN business to Renesas

Key Stream and Renesas have agreed to transfer Key Stream's wireless LAN business to Renesas on April 1 2009.

Renesas and Key Stream have jointly worked in wireless LAN solution area for mobile and digital consumer applications by combining Key Stream wireless LAN chipsets with Renesas microcontroller and SoC products. Due to recession hit economic condition, both have agreed to transfer a large share of the Key Stream wireless LAN business to Renesas.

Key Stream makes wireless LAN ICs supporting the IEEE 802.11a, 11b, and 11g standards and RF chips.
