Panasonic plans to open a new showroom built by using renewable energy sources

Panasonic Corporation has planned to open an eco-themed showroom called Eco Ideas House on the premises of Panasonic Center Tokyo, a corporate global communication platform of the Panasonic Group. The new facility utilizes natural elements of wind, light, water and heat for saving, creating, and storing energy with virtually zero CO2 emissions in the House as a whole. The House is scheduled to open to the public on weekends and holidays starting April 18th, 2009.

The latest energy-efficient appliances and eco-friendly products such as home-use fuel cells, PV solar panels and rechargeable batteries will be used to save, create and store energy.
Proposing an ideal lifestyle by adopting Japanese architecture to create a house that is comfortable around the four seasons.

This is another classic example of initiation from electronics technology powerhouses in realizing environment friendly technologies for happier living.
