AMCC announces Dr. Paramesh Gopi as new President and CEO

Applied Micro Circuits Corporation has announced that Kambiz Hooshmand, President and Chief Executive Officer, will step down on June 1st 2009. Dr Paramesh Gopi, currently the Chief Operating Officer, will take over the role of President and CEO at that time.
