Analog Devices and Legend Silicon together
open a design lab in Shanghai
To address the growing demand of mobile
TV solutions in hand held media players and cellphones, Analog
Devices and Legend Silicon have jointly opened a design lab
to provide reference designs for this budding market. The
new design lab headed by Dr. Xiaolin Wang of Analog will be
located in Shanghai next to the Fudan university campus. This
lab will provide analog and RF front-end solutions including
tuner, demodulator, and MPEG2 TS interface.
Both these companies in joint collaboration have already designed
few products exclusively for this market.
The reference designs will have legend's
demodulators and Analog's tuners and other cellphone ICs.
