Free Operating System to, for and by the engineering students

Free Software Foundation called E-swecha formed by engineering students has developed free software for experimental purpose. A team of engineering students mostly from in and around Hyderabad has developed this software.
This is a variant of Linux with the ease of installation and un-installation of software for the purpose of study.
This first step in achieving freedom from paid Operating Systems in local Indian languages will trigger further many such open source developments. Even for simple tasks, engineering community is forced to use costly software. Though free OS LINUX is availablem, its not in local language. This Telugu based software will sure to give way or get further developed in other Indian languages.
Cheers to the dedicated team of engineering students
