Free updated SPICE models and evaluation board for analog circuit design from ADI

More than 500 SPICE models and over 900 symbols for Analog Device's op amps and other linear circuits are now available in the National Instruments Multisim Analog Devices Edition software design tool. A recent upgrade added more than 20 new models and more than 90 symbols. The NI Multisim Analog Devices Edition capture and SPICE simulation software helps users quickly and easily evaluate Analog Devices amplifiers and components in an intuitive virtual circuit analysis environment. Engineers easily can swap ADI components within small circuit designs to pinpoint the best option for performance to avoid costly and time-consuming prototype rework. The NI Multisim Analog Devices Edition SPICE simulation software design tool is available for free download through the Analog Devices' web site:

Evaluation Boards Simplify Filter Breadboard Design

ADI also is making available three new active filter evaluation boards that enable engineers to build and test active filters in a matter of minutes--instead of days. The bare boards allow users to customize the active filters to meet their individual design needs. Each evaluation board also has a companion application note to simplify the design and assembly process. Design of a filter is accomplished using ADI's Analog Filter Wizard and can be verified with the NI Multisim Analog Devices Edition SPICE simulation software. The evaluation boards are free and can be ordered directly from http://www.analog.com/eval-fltr
