Sandbridge partners with telecom software developers to offer ready code for their chips

Sandbridge Technologies has signed agreements with independent 4G software developers, mimoOn and 4M Wireless for LTE solutions, and Seasolve for its mobile WiMAX solution. Under the agreements the software solutions will be available for integration on Sandbridge's Sandblaster(R)-based SB3500 platform.
Sandbrdige's SB3500 offers more than 30 Gmacs of re-usable compute power to support broadband data transfer rates specified by the LTE and mobile WiMAX protocols, as well as legacy 3G and 2G systems. SB3500 is also capable of performing uninterrupted, switchable operations - to deliver complete user profiles for voice, broadband, Bluetooth, GPS and mp3 or video simultaneously. This new software support effort by Sandbridge is aimed at reducing development cost and time-to-market.
