Freescale Technology Forum event focuses entirely to build Indian hardware industry.

Bangalore : Freescale Technology Forum started with Freescale's top talent sharing their vision and plans for wireless, broadband, embedded, automotive and consumer market. They said lot about Indian automotive (both bikes and cars) and mobile phone market. Asia's market potential and opportunities and India's role were well explained by Joe Yiu, VP and GM for Asian Region. Subroto Bagchi of Mindtree spoke about semiconductor role in our life and it's pervasiveness. Bangalore boy Sandeep Chennakeshu, VP and GM of wireless and mobile systems group took the audience on the marvelous history path of Motorola (old name of Freescale Semiconductor) starting from early sixties to the present date. He also shared the strategy, market and challenges in developing wireless broadband.

A total of 51 interactive technology sessions focusing on automotive, industrial, networking, consumer, and mobile communications and enabling technologies are going on up to the evening of 15th Nov 06. The hotel atmosphere has changed to some engineering school kind with good attendance by all type of professionals.
