The new rugged op amp TSB622 from STMicroelectronics is a general-purpose low-power dual operational amplifier for industrial and automotive applications.
Operating from a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 36V, the unity-gain stable TSB622 specified to use in temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. TSB622 offers rail-to-rail output and input offset voltage of 1mV.
TSB622 operates at high speed relative to power consumption due to its gain-bandwidth (GBW) product of 1.7MHz and maximum operating current of 375μA per channel (at 36V supply).
This low current consuming op amp provides high ESD tolerance of 4kV (HBM – human-body model) and highly immune to electromagnetic interference making it eligible for high RF noise-present environments including industrial and automotive applications.
TSB622 is available in space-saving packages of SO8 and MiniSO8 in the month of July 2022. The 3mm x 3mm DFN8 package will come with wettable flanks that provide extra mechanical strength to meet the automotive-industry requirements.
The TSB622 is in production now. The industrial-grade version is available from $1.12 and the automotive-grade version from $1.34 for orders of 1000 pieces. The device is in a free-sample program and can be ordered on ST eStore.
