Digital marketing expert Chris Cook named as CMO of Cypress Semiconductor

Embedded domain and touch interface chip expert Cypress Semiconductor appointed Chris Cook as chief marketing officer (CMO). Cook, a digital marketing expert to head the marketing and communications strategy for Cypress and to report directly to Cypress President and CEO Hassane El-Khoury.

“Chris brings a unique mix of experience and skills to our management team that we believe will prove invaluable as we continue growing and reshaping Cypress,” said El-Khoury. “He comes to us as an agent of change, with a proven track record of building engaged teams, growing businesses and driving transformations. Cook had worked earlier at Flex Power, earlier known as Flextronics and before that he was working at Infineon Technologies. Cook was co-founder and CEO of Cauz Colony, a social impact start-up focused on shaking up the digital marketing world by connecting people, brands and charities in new ways that make a big difference for causes they love.
