Higher ripple current, lower impedance conductive aluminum polymer capacitors

Irrespective of its long and mature usage, aluminum electrolytic capacitors continuously get innovated, particularly from passive device expert Vishay.

Vishay could able to offer high ripple current, low impedance conductive aluminum polymer capacitors for portable electronics and consumer and telecom applications. 180 CPS and 181 CPL series devices provide lasts longer than standard aluminum capacitors with useful life of 2500 h and 5000 h at +105 °C, respectively.

Available in the case sizes from 5.3 mm by 5.3 mm by 5.7 mm to 10.4 mm by 10.4 mm by 12.6 mm, 180 CPS and 181 CPL series capacitors feature ripple current to 6100 mA and impedance down to 9 milliohms.

The RoHS-compliant, surface-mount capacitors can support automatic placement and high-temperature reflow soldering according to JEDEC.

Sample and production quantities of the 180 CPS and 181 CPL are available now, with lead times of 8 to 10 weeks for large orders.
