PCIe 3.0 solution from PLDA passes PCI-SIG PCIe 3.0 compliance testing

PLDA has its XpressRICH3-AXI PCI Express (PCIe) 3.0 solution with AMBA AXI passed in all Gold and Interoperability tests performed by the PCI-SIG committee during its most recent workshop in December 2013. The testing was conducted using the PLDA XpressRICH3-AXI IP, running in an add-in card configuration on Xilinx KC705 board, based on a Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA.

“Successful completion of the PCI-SIG compliance testing is a critical step in validating PLDA’s XpressRICH3-AXI PCIe 3.0 IP solution. Combined with our extensive history of groundbreaking PCIe development and a track record of over 5,800 PCI Express designs in silicon, this certification provides our global customer base with a further indication of the quality and ease-of-integration they have come to expect from our IP products.” said Stephane Hauradou, CTO of PLDA.

“As a PCI-SIG member, PLDA holds a valued role in the success of PCIe technology,” said Al Yanes, PCI-SIG president and chairman. “Participating in PCIe specification compliance testing helps enable a robust PCIe ecosystem.”

PLDA’s XpressRICH3-AXI PCI Express 3.0 solution provides the following features and benefits:
Flexible design, supporting Endpoint and Root-Port configurations
Silicon-proven, with over 2500 designs in silicon, ensuring first pass silicon success
Low latency, high-throughput user interface
Supports a variety of speeds from x1 at Gen1 to x16 at Gen3
Compliant to the AMBA AXI Specification v1.0 (AXI3) and AMBA AXI Specification v2.0 (AXI4)
Supports up to 8 DMA Engines
