Toradex has announced that their Colibri T30 ARM Computer on Module which is based on the NVIDIA Tegra 3, is to be available in sample quantities during 4Q12. The module is to ship with the Linux-based L4TBSP and there is no update on the availability of WEC7 at this time.
The Colibri family offers cost-performance optimized designs and these small form factor modules are highly miniaturized. These modules encapsulate complex computer system on module hardware and software technology for fast and easy embedded product development.
Toradex has also released the Colibri Evaluation Board (V3.1A) – a flexible development environment for evaluating the functionality and performance of the entire Colibri computer on module product family. The board consists of support for the enhanced functionality on the Colibri T20 and Colibri T30 modules that feature the NVIDIA Tegra 2 and Tegra 3 processors.
All interfaces of Colibri modules are designed to be easily accessible by external hardware. The required hardware and standard connectors for most common interfaces are already integrated. On-Board DC/DC converters deliver up to 5 Amps at 5V and 3.3V for additional hardware.
