AMD Geode processor based single board computer from Kontron

Kontron has announced the 2.5-inch single board computer (SBC) KTLX800/pITXp powered by AMD Geode LX800 processor targeting apps such as industrial automation and test and measurement. The Kontron KTLX800/pITX consumes a power of 5 - 7 W making it suitable for small and cost-sensitive industrial applications.

The Kontron 2.5-inch Pico-ITX SBC KTLX800/pITX features VGA, plus LVDS with JILI30, two serial interfaces, Fast Ethernet, SATA, four USB 2.0 and 16 GPIO interfaces. This SBC is compact measuring 100 x 72 mm and is suggested for small form factor embedded designs and ultra-mobile devices such as those used in industrial automation and test and measurement.

Embedded software developers are supported with board support packages (BSPs) and Kontron Embedded Application Programming Interface (KEAPI), which standardizes hardware access.

Offering 1 GB of DDR RAM system memory KTLX800/pITX supports Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, Windows Embedded Standard 7 and Linux, and is available for immediate delivery.
