Dual display multimedia box and the compact chassis from IEI

IEI Technology Corp. has introduced the ECN-581A series including the ECN-581A-QM57 dual DVI display multimedia box and the ECN-581A-R10-D5251 and ECN-581A-R10-HM551 embedded compact chassis for the NANO series. The ECN-581A-QM57 is based on Intel Core i5-520M mobile processor and mobile Intel QM57 Express Chipset. With the launch of the ECN-581A-R10-HM551 and the ECN-581A-R10-D5251, IEI presents an additional embedded chassis series for the Intel HM55 chipset and Intel Atom D525 processor platforms.

The ECN-581A-QM57 features graphics engine with full AVC, VC-1 and MPEG2 decoding acceleration as well as 1080p HD digital output for large-sized displays making the ECN-581A-QM57 an ideal system for digital signage. The dual display feature is achieved through the dual DVI interfaces. The ECN-581A-QM57 has One Key Recovery software to create full system backup on demand and system restoration to a previously made backup with a single click.

The new embedded compact chassis series for the IEI Intel HM55 and D525 single, ECN-581A-R10-HM551 supports SBCs with Socket G1 for Intel 32nm mobile processor, dual-display via VGA and HDMI interfaces, and one 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM SDRAM socket with up to 4 GB support. The ECN-581A-R10-D5251 supports SBCs with 1.8 GHz Intel Atom D525 processor with 1 MB L2 cache and up to 4 GB DDR3 SO-DIMM SDRAM support.

The ECN-581A series features high performance in a compact design making it ideal for limited space environments. It is also suitable for digital signage applications with remote control management, system backup and recovery.
