MOSFETs stacked to deliver 12 Amps in 10 square mm package

Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS) has stacked Split Gate Technology (SGT) MOSFETs in a package measuring 10mm2 to deliver a max current of 12 Amps.

The dual MOSFET power stage is suggested for sync buck type DC-DC power conversion applications. The AON7900 is suggested for designing DC/DC converter power in notebook computers, servers, graphics cards, and communications equipments where input voltage is in the range of 12 Volts.

Technical Highlights:
1. Tuned 30V SGT MOSFET pair
    --17m ohms high-side, and 5.5m ohms low-side synchronous rectifier
--Low capacitance for high frequency operation with good immunity to induced noise
2. One large exposed metal pad connected to the switch node

Package: DFN3.3x3.3

Price: Each US$0.75 for 1K pieces.
