Holtek releases a remote control encoder with RF transmitter device series

Holtek has released the HT6P20x2T3 encoder with RF transmitter device meetings industrial temp range specs of -40°C~85°C. HT6P20x2T3 operates from a voltage range of 2.0V~3.6V and the RF transmitter can generate frequencies within a range of 300MHz ~ 450MHz using ASK modulation. Under a 3.5V operating voltage, the transmission power has a maximum value of 10dBm which is within the required safe regulation range.

The HT6P20x2T3 series contains three devices, the HT6P20B2T3, HT6P20D2T3 and HT6P20F2T3, all of which are available in 16-pin SOP package types. All devices have a fully integrated accurate RC system oscillator.

All devices share the same coding format as the previously released HT6P20B/HT6P20D devices, therefore no changes are required to receiving circuits. Additionally, the HT6P20F2T3 supports five switch inputs.

Holtek says all the devices including an RF transmitter, a full RF transmit function can be implemented with a minimum of external passive components which results in one of the best remote control solutions on the market in terms of reduced costs, small size and high performance. The devices will find usage in application areas such as car, motorcycle and electric bike alarms, home security and gating entry products, curtain controllers, doorbells and many other applications etc.
