Zuken introduces new version of its PCB design software

Zuken has announced the availability of the free evaluation version of CADSTAR 12.1 and is available for download from Zuken.com. The Express version of CADSTAR is a fully functional CADSTAR (limited to 300 pins and 50 components).

"Like any business software, choosing the right design software is a big deal. There are so many options to choose from, coming from many different vendors - all trying to say the right thing to you at the right time. All you really want to do is try it out, grab the mouse and have a go - not watch others do it, as they navigate around the software to show you the best bits. That's why we have CADSTAR Express, so designers can make the right choice themselves," said Jeroen Leinders CADSTAR distribution manager.

CADSTAR is Zuken's PCB design solution. This software helps to guide the designers easily through their design process. CADSTAR incorporates schematics, board- and FPGA-level system design, PCB layout, high-speed and signal integrity, analysis, 3D, creation of manufacturing output, complemented by complete data management capabilities and internet-accessible libraries containing over 250,000 components
