New digital signage platform from Axiomtek
with 42-inch HD wide TFT LCD
Axiomtek has released the DSA-142, a new large-size professional
digital signage platform. This platform is equipped with
a 42-inch full high definition wide TFT LCD, supporting
1920 x 1080 pixel resolution with high quality and exquisite
images. This platform is powered by Intel processors like
the Core2 Duo T9400 2.53 GHz or Celeron M 575 2.0 GHz processor
with Intel GM45 chipset. It has a pluggable CPU board design
and is easy for system deployment and efficient maintenance.
Axiomtek says that the DSA-142 can be deployed in a variety
of venues from shopping malls to corporate environments,
education, hospitality, banks, transportation, restaurants,
recreation and more.
This CPU board can simply slot-in and out the pluggable
module. For system stability, this fanless unit can self
diagnose LCD backlight life and detect external temperature.
This platform has built-in sensor for LCD color/backlight
and external temperature, this system also has a built in
IR touch screen (optional). For green power concern, the
optional motion detection sensor can switch LCD off or on
based on human foot traffic. To enable operator to manage
content effectively anytime anywhere via internet, the DSA-142
supports 802.11 wireless LAN connection and 10/100/1000
Ethernet. An optional touchscreen is also available for
users.
For storage capacity, the digital signage unit comes with
built-in 1GB DDR3 DRAM system memory plus 160GB SATA HDD.
Thuis solution comes with a VESA FPMPMI compliant flat panel
mounting for suspension fixing suited for any public space.
Other I/O features include VGA or DVI out, 4 USB 2.0 ports
and audio (5W x 2 built-in side facing speaker).
The DSA-142 is available now with the DSA-132 (31.5
LCD size) and DSA-146 (46 LCD size) from the same
product line.
