Handheld spectrum analyzer from Anritsu
with frequency coverage up to 43GHz
Anritsu has introduced the MS272xC Spectrum Master series
that it claims provides the broadest frequency range ever
available in a handheld spectrum analyzer. Providing frequency
coverage up to 43 GHz in an instrument that weighs less
than 8 lbs. The MS272xC series can be used to test the RF
physical layer to monitor over-the-air signals, locate interferers,
and detect hidden transmitters. Five models, with high-end
frequency coverage of 9 GHz, 13 GHz, 20 GHz, 32 GHz and
43 GHz, respectively, are available in the new family.
Anritsu claims the MS272xC Spectrum Master is a vastly
superior product compared to existing handheld and benchtop
spectrum analyzers and it eliminates the need to carry heavy
benchtop spectrum analyzers into the field to measure signals
above 20 GHz, such as those used in microwave backhaul applications.
3G/4G options can be incorporated into the handheld spectrum
analyzers to measure LTE, HSPA+, W-CDMA, CDMA/EV-DO, GSM/EDGE,
TD-SCDMA/HSDPA, and WiMAX signals.
MS2726C Spectrum Master has a fast sweep time of 27 seconds
for a 43 GHz span with a 30 kHz RBW enabing quick measurement.
MS2726C offers phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset
at 1 GHz and dynamic range of 104 dB. Designed with a broadband
preamplifier, the handheld spectrum analyzers have high
sensitivity of -160 dBm at 1 GHz and -147 dBm at 40 GHz
to detect small signals. An intuitive menu-driven screen
is also made available to ease the measurements.
The MS272xC series with a daylight vision supporting display
is packed in a rugged housing and has a field-replaceable
long-life battery.
Operating temperature range: -10° to 55°
C.
