New SBC series from IEI built on Intel's
45nm core architecture
IEI has introduced the new Single Board Computers (SBC)
series featuring the Intel G41 chipset designed to handle
computing and visual workloads. These computers support
Intel G41 chipset and Intel Core 2 Quad processor and are
built on 45nm Intel Core micro-architecture for advanced
video and graphics performance.
The IEI Intel G41 series includes:
1. Provides DDR3 support.
2. The Intel G41 chipset include the PCIE-G41A2, WSB-G41A
and IMB-G41A.
PCIE-G41A2 is a full-size PICMG 1.3 CPU card supporting
an LGA775 Intel Core2 Extreme/Quad/Duo and Celeron processor
with a Front Side Bus (FSB) up to 1333 MHz. Dual channel
DDR3 800/1066 MHz and a PCI-Express Gigabit Ethernet controller
ensures data transfer with less data loss.
WSB-G41A is a full-size PICMG 1.0 SBC and supports an LGA775
Intel Core 2 Quad processor with an FSB up to 1333 MHz.
It enhances data transfers with dual channel DDR3 800/1066
MHz up to 4 GB. This device is suggested to be applied in
wide-ranging industrial applications dual Intel GbE Ethernet,
four SATA 3Gb/s, and two RS-232 serial port connectors.
IMB-G41A is a microATX motherboard supporting a 45nm LGA775
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU with a 333/1066/800 MHz FSB. It has
a built-in Intel GMA 4500 to enhance graphics performance.
The IMB-G41A is suggested for dual display via its VGA and
PCIe x16 interfaces. Its I/O interfaces including ten COM
ports, four SATA 3Gb/s ports and a HD audio connector. This
device is suggested for industrial control system and other
industrial applications.
IEI SBCs with Intel G41 chipsets also includes the recovery
software from IEI named One Key Recovery. The One Key Recovery
function creates a full system backup on demand and allows
system recovery by restoring to a previously made backup
with a single click.
