New networking connector and cages for optical transceivers and Ethernet.

Pulse  Engineering (part of Technitrol group) has launched a new line of Small Form Factor (SFP) pluggable connectors and cages for  networking equipments and servers.
These cages can work upto 5 gigabits per sec.  Due to their metallic body of nickel plated copper alloy, they sink extra heat from the transceivers, block EMI, and also provide mechanical stability.  Perforated body allows heat transfer by convectional air circulation.
They are designed not to deform while press fitting. The cages are available in three different sizes of .
a 2x1 which measures 25.50mm height (h) x 63.25mm depth (d) x 14.50mm width (w), a 1x1 which measures 9.45mm (h) x 48.80mm (d) x 14.75mm (w), and a 1x4 which measures 9.20mm (h) x 48.97mm (d) x 57.25mm (w).

The cage and connector are available in set or separate except for 2x1 series where the connector is built in.
