Agilent MMIC products now available for external customers

Agilent Technologies has announced release of its 1Gxx family of MMIC (Monolithic Microwave IC) products through existing distribution channels. The MMIC devices, previously exclusively used by Agilent, are now available for a select set of end-user customers. The 1Gxx MMICs provide superior performance for applications focused at aerospace/defense and telecommunications.

MMICs are at the core of most high-frequency, high-speed electronic products, performing functions such as microwave mixing, power amplification, low-noise amplification and high-frequency switching. The 1Gxx family of products consists of a diverse selection of millimeter-wave ICs, built-in GaAs and InP processes. Included will be the packaged and die versions of high-performance switches, mixers and amplifiers operating up to 110GHz. All 1Gxx products are designed and manufactured at Agilent's High Frequency Technology Center.
