DDC adds ARINC 575 support for its new ARINC 429 products

Data Device Corporation (DDC) has added ARINC 575 support for DDC's new ARINC 429 products including PMC, PC/104-Plus, and PCI-104 cards, featuring various ARINC 429 receive and transmit channel counts. The addition of programmable ARINC 575 support for each ARINC 429 channel on the cards allows for compatibility with legacy systems.

"The unique combination of MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 on a single card, along with the addition of ARINC 575 support, and versatile digital and serial I/O options, makes these cards ideally suited for retrofit applications that routinely require interfacing to a variety of communication standards," said Sean Sleicher, DDC's MIL-STD-1553 Marketing Manager.

The cards include the MIL-STD-1553 Enhanced Mini-ACE (EMACE) Plus "C" Software Development Kit (SDK) and the ARINC 429 Multi-I/O "C" SDK with drivers for Linux, VxWorks, and Windows 2000/XP, including source code samples and detailed documentation. The ARINC 429 Multi-I/O "C" SDK also includes drivers for Integrity.
