DiViiNA, a new entry-level line scan camera from e2v

e2v has unveiled a new line scan camera family called DiViiNA featuring 1024, 2048 and 4096 pixel sensors from e2v, running at 40 MHz and outputting 8 bits on Camera Link for machine vision applications.

e2v claims the DiViiNA cameras are easy-to-use and robust, with user friendly levels of functionality providing the perfect image quality for mid-range applications. They have been specifically designed for machine vision system integrators looking for cost effective solutions for mid-range applications.

"The DiViiNA cameras complete e2v's line scan camera range. Whilst the comprehensive features and functionality available on AViiVA and ELiiXA cameras make them ideal candidates for high end systems, DiViiNA is the perfect balance between cost and performances to serve entry-level needs" commented Christophe Robinet, Strategic Marketing Manager for Industrial Imaging Products at e2v.

The camera can be set through a flexible and easy serial control, operated with a two tap Camera Link base configuration and triggered on free run and external trigger modes.

DiViiNA is already available for evaluation, with initial production units scheduled for availability by April 2009.
