Kilo Watt range aluminum enclosed power resistors for harsh conditions

New CJT series resistors from Tyco Electronics feature high IP ratings of IP33 up to IP54, making the devices superior to conventional ceramic resistors when used in harsh environments.

Product Features:
1. Power ratings in the range of 60W to 2000W in free air
2. Resistance values in the range of 1R0 to 10K with a standard resistance tolerance of 5%
3. High IP ratings of IP33 to IP54
4. Easy airtight fitting
5. High voltage withstand capability of up to 4KV

Applications:
Harsh Environments
Inverter Braking

Benefiting from easy airtight fitting and the ability to fit a heat sink, the resistors are ideal for inverter braking, as well as loading and charging circuits used in harsh environmental conditions.

Customer-specific designs such as modular assemblies and a number of package profiles are available upon customer's request.
