High-current inductor
in 2020 case size with maximum frequency of 1 MHz
Vishay Intertechnology announced a new IHLP low profile,
high-current inductor in the 2020 case size. The compact
IHLP-2020CZ-11 offers a wide inductance range and low DCR.
With a frequency range up to 1 MHz, the new IHLP inductor
serves as a space and power-saving solution for voltage
regulator module (VRM) and dc-to-dc converter applications
in end products including next-generation mobile devices;
notebooks, desktop computers, servers, graphic cards, portable
gaming devices, personal navigation systems, personal multimedia
devices, and automotive systems; low-profile, high-current
power supplies and point of load (POL) converters; distributed
power systems; and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).
Features include:
1. Offers an inductance range from 0.10 µH to 22
µH,
2. Offers a saturation current range from 1.7 A up to 25
A,
3. Offers typical DCR from 2.6 mO to 250.0 mO, and maximum
DCR from 2.9 mO to 260.0 mO.
4. It can handles high transient current spikes without
hard saturation.
5. Packaged in a RoHS-compliant, 100 % lead-free shielded,
composite construction that reduces buzz noise
to ultra-low levels,
6. The new device is specified for an operating temperature
range of 55 °C to +125 °C
7. Offers high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical
shock, and vibration.
8. The IHLP series is qualified to AEC-Q200 standards.
Package: 2020 case size
Size: 3.0-mm profile
Availability: Samples and production quantities of the new
inductor are available
now, with lead times of 10 to 12 weeks for large orders.
